Advocate
for change.

The basis of Jamie Daniels Foundation is to bring awareness of the opioid and substance abuse crisis to reduce the risks of Substance Use Disorder  and its after effects.  We advocate for change that can improve the path of a child or teen’s life and that of their family’s life. It is our hope that together we can provide the tools and affect change to support prevention, recovery and stigma reduction.

If you would like to help us advocate for legislative change, please click here to receive notifications on advocacy opportunities. This can be in the form of a letter to government representatives, a petition, or sharing your story.

"Of every dollar state and federal governments spend on substance problems only 2 cents goes to prevention and treatment while 96 cents pays for the consequences of our failure to prevent and treat this problem."

Every gift to the Jamie Daniels Foundation is important to the health and well-being of the children, young adults, and the families we serve. Every gift helps to ensure the best possible futures for our communities.

Many donors choose to support the Jamie Daniels Foundation by making gifts by personal check, credit card, cash, or gifts of securities. These personal contributions are a significant source of support and have the added advantage that they can be put to use immediately. Whether you give online, by phone, or by mail, we will send a letter acknowledging your contribution to the address you provide.

We also accept gifts-in-kind such as real estate and tangible personal property such as art and jewelry. Upon making such a donation, you may be eligible to receive a tax receipt for the market value of the property. The fair market value of the property is determined by one or more qualified appraisers. The tax credit may offset the tax on any realized capital gain on the property, resulting in overall net tax savings.

If you’d like to make a significant impact on a specific area of substance use disorder, please consider planning a major gift. We can help you explore how your generosity and interests can make an immeasurable difference. Your major gift could help fund the Adolescent Addiction Recovery Center (AARC), support collegiate recovery programs, or address prevention programming in schools, or could establish new education or community outreach programs to improve the awareness surrounding substance use disorder. Major gifts can make an immediate impact on the lives of the individuals and families involved and can also be endowed to provide enduring support.

The Jamie Daniels Foundation provides donors with many opportunities for public recognition and naming opportunities.
